Breathwork

Many of us forget to breathe when we are feeling stressed or anxious.  Deepening our breathing is a primary way to instill relaxation of the body and calmness of the mind. Our selection of classes will help you reconnect to your breath.

Often times in the busy pace of life in the city, we lose connection with our breath, the vital life force. Learning how to reconnect with our breath can lead to relief of the physical and emotional symptoms caused by stress.

We have several breathwork classes at OHM all offered Virtually at this time.

Wim Hof Breathwork: Breathing is the easiest and most instrumental part of the autonomic nervous system to control and navigate. Learn how to use your breath to navigate daily life and build resilience towards everyday stress, leaving you more in control of your mind, body and emotions.

Breathwork Express: In this 30-minute class you will be guided through a rejuvenating series of breathwork exercises that will detox and energize you.

Deep Relaxation: In this class you will learn and practice powerful breathwork and deep relaxation techniques to help manage the nervous system and de-stress the mind.

Chakrasana: In this unique yoga class we will return to the type of yoga practiced by the ancient Vedics. Each class you will do seven yoga poses, held for three minutes each. The poses target specific chakras. Some classes we will do one asana for each chakra, and in other classes we will target specific chakras. Mantra, mudra and pranayama are woven throughout the class to aid in clearing and opening your chakras. We will finish with a gently guided meditation. This class is appropriate for all levels.

Sometimes, we all need a little help truly experiencing and coming home to our breath. We invite you to try one of our breathwork classes!
